Mr Michael Ngala is the Treasurer SOCATT(K) and the Clerk of Kilifi County Assembly. He is also a member of the finance committee.
CPA-Michael Bidii Ngala is the Clerk of Assembly and the Secretary to the County Assembly Service Board. He was born on 12th October 1977 in Kilifi County.
CPA-Ngala holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce (Accounting Option) from the University of Nairobi and a Masters of Business administration (MBA-Strategic Management Option) from Taita-Taveta University. He is a CPA (K) holder and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
He brings to the Assembly over 18 years of wealthy experience both in Finance and Public Service Administration, having worked in County Council of Kilifi from the year 2001 to 2012 as an accountant. He was then promoted to head the Treasury Department in Taveta Town Council up to March 2013 when he was absorbed to the County Assembly of Taita-Taveta as the Interim Principal Finance Officer.
In February 2014, he was appointed the Clerk of the County Assembly of Taita-Taveta, a position that he held up to December 2018, when he was appointed by the Board and approved by the Assembly as the Clerk to the County Assembly of Kilifi.
CPA-Ngala with his team intends to deliver and enable the Assembly achieve efficiency and effectiveness in executing its mandate as enshrined in the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
